The foundation of Pendleton Woolen Mills, Inc. is its vertical manufacturing—controlling wool manufacturing from wool purchase to finished product. Wool processing occurs in Pendleton-owned mills and much of the manufacturing takes place in Pendleton-owned facilities. Washougal, Washington, and Pendleton, Oregon – as far as I can tell, only the blankets are made in the USA. Rubber boots are made in China
